Stagecoach's coastal breezer service returns for summer 2026

The North West’s most cheerful summer bus ride is rolling back into action. Stagecoach’s open‑top Coastal Breezer will once again link Seacombe Ferry Terminal with New Brighton, giving families, day‑trippers and visitors a breezy, panoramic way to enjoy the Wirral waterfront.
The 2026 season runs daily from Saturday 18th July to Monday 31st August. Once again, our timetable has been designed to sync smoothly with Mersey Ferry arrivals, making it easier than ever for passengers to hop straight from the river to the coast.
Stagecoach’s partnership with Merseytravel also means Mersey Ferry River Explorer Cruise ticket holders and Eureka! Science + Discovery annual pass holders can enjoy the Coastal Breezer for free.
Great value fares remain unchanged from previous years:
- Adult single: £1
- Family ticket: £5 (up to two adults and three children)

The open‑top service will run weather permitting, offering sweeping views across the River Mersey and Liverpool Bay as it heads toward one of the North West’s most loved seaside destinations.
