Stagecoach celebrates Pride Month and attends four Pride events in one day!

Stagecoach, the UK’s largest bus and coach operator, has continued to demonstrate its support for the LGBTQ+ Community during this year's Pride celebrations by attending four Pride Events in one day (June 8) and commits to attending over 25 across the UK.  

Stagecoach began its Pride celebrations in Cheltenham (May 18) before attending Torfaen Pride on Saturday 1 June with one of the operators 18 specially wrapped Pride buses.  

On Saturday 8 June, Stagecoach teams could be spotted at Blackpool, Canterbury, Oxford and Peterborough Pride events celebrating alongside the local communities.  

The events were the first of over 25 Pride celebrations across the UK that Stagecoach has committed to attending, reaffirming their support of the LGBTQ+ community and its members both within Stagecoach and the wider communities it serves. 

The operator has planned attendance in areas such as Manchester, Exeter, Portsmouth, Warwickshire, Barnsley, and Dundee.  

Stagecoach has six Employee Networks, including its LGBTQ+ Network, for employees. These groups help create a more inclusive workplace, with each network comprising employees from varied roles in the business who encourage change.

Putting people at the heart of what we do allows both Stagecoach customers and staff to feel welcomed and safe.”
