Stagecoach celebrates employees at annual Excellence Awards
- Stagecoach announced the winners of its annual Excellence Awards at the London Transport Museum on 13th February.
Stagecoach, the UK’s largest bus and coach operator, announced the winners of its prestigious annual Excellence Awards at the London Transport Museum on Thursday 13th February.
The companywide awards, now in their second year, recognise and celebrate remarkable achievements by Stagecoach employees across the business. Awards were given out across eight categories, with five based on demonstrating and reflecting the company’s values in the best way possible.
Stagecoach employees and teams across England, Scotland and Wales nominated their colleagues who had gone above and beyond in their roles, with a focus on celebrating both individual contributions and team efforts that embody the company’s values.
This year, the company received over 600 nominations at every level across the group and regions, highlighting individual contributions from employees as well as outstanding team efforts from all over the country.
Claire Miles, CEO of Stagecoach, said: “Our Excellence Awards provide a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the hard work, determination, and incredible passion of both individuals and teams across our business.
“With well over 600 nominations this year, it was a very difficult task to whittle it down to a winner, with strong nominations in all categories. What is clear though is that our colleagues continue to do exceptional work in delivering excellent customer service and making a positive impact across the country. It is only right that we recognise, honour and celebrate standout achievements in our business at what is now a truly special event."
