Stagecoach announces appointment of Chief Operating Officer
- Sam Greer to become Chief Operating Officer of Stagecoach in September
- New Asset Management division to be created to drive decarbonisation plan
Stagecoach, the UK's largest bus and coach operator, announced today (Thursday 15 June) the appointment of Sam Greer as Chief Operating Officer with effect from 1 September. Sam who is currently Engineering Director and Regional Director for Scotland, has worked at Stagecoach since 1992. The role will now see him responsible for the delivery of Stagecoach's bus service operations.
Stagecoach has also announced the establishment of a new Asset Management function, bringing together engineering, procurement and infrastructure activities. Stagecoach is targeting a zero-emissions bus fleet by 2035 and the new function will drive delivery of Stagecoach’s decarbonisation ambitions.
